As a liberal, although I don't agree with Paul on some things like Healthcare, I would say he was the best 2012 candidate even though he is quite conservative. I really wanted him to make the primaries since he was the only one who would try to change our foreign policy from constant interventionist to a more non interventionist policy.

You know what's funny about your statement? I actually agree with you...and I'm an Obama supporter:-) I had a debate with my co-workers last week, whom are Romney supporters and I argued that same point to them. My point to them was, if your aim was really to "restore America" and fix most of our domestic problems, you wouldn't be voting for Romney, but Ron Paul instead. If they would have run Ron Paul against Obama it would have turned out to be a completely different race. With Paul he has actual facts behind the statements he makes and he lives what he preaches. I am more than sure there are Republicans kicking themselves in the ass right now because the backed the wrong candidate.
