Faron has always been my favorite singer. If I had to pick a favorite country music song, this would be it. I was lucky enough to see him perform live. He was very funny. Even got to see him after the show and got a kiss on the lips.

I must say that I am very proud to be named after a great legend and everyday, when someone ask where I got the name, " I proudly say, You gotta know country legends to understand" lol.. So proud to be named after him.

No one could sing behind the beat with such grace & ease better than Faron Young. He quite simply trumped his contemporaries when it came to skill of the voice. I love many of country's great singers & am glad I don't have to pick just one favorite but as a singer myself I have more respect for his ability than anyone elses.
