ROMAURIED goldfish bowl

I've wanted to try this for a long time.Even tried to get the local pet store to "lend" me a goldfish bowl to set-up in their shop.They seem to think it involves some "unholy pact" made with the "Dark One" cause they don't understand why the water doesn't fall out!
Fortunately, our new trainee refrigeration engineer had an empty one available.
The small water pump directs a water flow into the inverted bowl.He will set-up an external bio-filter later.
I was thinking one of those very large glass jars used in sweet shops might look good.

When I first tied this, I thought the distortion to the fish entering the globe would put people off.In fact, on the German "clone" of this principal it actually enhances the view of the fish entering.

Thank you. I was just trying to show how the principle can be applied to even the simplest of fish tanks.

It does rather distort the shape of the fish, though.

@WalshieAFC 2 pieces of 6mm glass silicone d to form a right angle support attached to the base.2 of these on either side of the bowl.

In fact the bowl got broken when he moved the tank so he built a rectangular unit instead.
