@lesterclaypool1 uhhh Trailer Park boys...the most famous Canadian Tv show. yeah its killing the industry. Should do more Littlest Hobbo, gets lots of viewers in the states. The world is going to at home productions. You tube. CNC machines, its all DIY now. things you can do at home now you couldn't do 10 years ago. Look at video editing. Before you needed a MAC, at a college, with $ software. NOw you can do the same at home. Its just practice and INDIVIDUAL INITIATIVE.

As I said in the original comment read Michael Jackson's letter before you form your opinion from the ignorance of not having done so. One person acting as actor, rigger and electrician, the last being a job that he had NO formal training in isn't productive, it's stupid and dangerous to everyone on set.

This isn't a matter of someone being hired to do sound and then being forced to compose a soundtrack, these were huge safety violations.

You should take your complaints up with those egotistical, overpaid labourers, then.

This isn't Ford employees with the buffer of a union we're talking about, these are individuals who's intellectual and creative property rights have no other protection other than these unions (As a writer you should appreciate this).

Non union shooting is what keeps big entertainment dollars out of Canada and sends our talent down south. But if your happy to see the industry die...

I am FOR UNION, AGAINST egotistical, overpaid labourers
