This is a great and entertaining way to learn about the revolutionary war in 1777-1778 around Tredyffrin Township. It is best viewed in full screen mode to better see the maps. Sean Moir, Chester County GIS analyst and historic researcher, presents an animated map of Revolutionary War troop movements in Chester County and Tredyffrin Township as part of the Tredyffrin Historic PreservationTRUSTlecture series. The lecture is a result of a multi-award winning county project, sponsored by the National Park Service and the American Battlefield Protection Program (ABPP), which included the researching, mapping, and animating of the 1777 Philadelphia Campaign conflicts, specifically the Battle of Brandywine and the Paoli Massacre. Look for reference to the Great Valley House at 1 hour and 4.5 minutes into the video.
