@RetroComputerMuseum the problem was that the controls were really sensitive right? The throttle on the jet was really hard to control so you'd inevitably shoot off and hit some shit and die ;/

Funny that the version on Jimmy White Cueball is just like this. Maybe a little better, as it's the arcade version.
Clearly the Atari 800xl was powerful in it's day.

Rescue on Fractalus was another, along with Ball Blazer, Encounter, Attack of the Mutant Camels. Probably quite a few others too. Most UK programmers either didn't know how or didn't bother to get the most out of it, which was a shame.

That was one of the few games that the Atari had the better version of (Elektra Glide was one as well).
