1986 Cal Worthington commercial

Surprised there isn't more of these online- Cal Worthington practically owned the airwaves, his commercials were inescapable. He owned Worthington Chevrolet in Sacramento, and a few other car dealers on the West Coast. I heard he just retired not too long ago.

I pretty much quit watching TV in the 90s, but all through the 80s these commercials usually included the "Cal Worthington and his dog Spot" intros that dated back to the 60s, along with the "Go see Cal" theme song that many misinterpreted as "Pussy Cow".

The video glitches are from the TV broadcast's master, just adds to the flavor of local commercials.

pussy cow, i'm glad i'm not the only guy that thought they said that. i always see these commercials, because i'm a so cal native, did he have other places in other states? because from the comments, i think he had a location in Houston, TX. does anybody have the "mile of cars" commercial from San Diego? i'm looking for the one that's like "get on down to the mile!"
