ahhhh Daniil's arabesque at the beginning! i've seen him dance live, and it is quite remarkable you really just fall in love with him and the dancing. I have yet to see Maria, but i'm sure she is just as charming and lovely as she is here!

@osiasb I have to disagree with you here. Comparing young dancers of today with the stars of yesteryear is futile. I speak as one who saw 3 of Nureyev's first six Corsaires in London, Nov 62 to Jan 63. He couldn't do half of the things that Simkin does, and yet is was still a sensational experience, which I have never forgotten. We must not live with the tyranny of the past. I could write reams on this subject. I'm just thrilled that I can see such a performance as Mr Simkin's.
