  • this critter is mad cause they caught it with flashlights 'out of the closet'...

  • they need time for the melanosomes to mature, they do the colour change by dispersion or aggregation of a pigment cell inside melanophore and normally they dont have full control of this as a juvenile

  • octopuses are generally planktonic at birth, while some cuttlefish species are small, but not nearly as tiny as newborn octopus, at least as far as i know.

  • i wonder wat the octopuses and cuttle fish look like wen they are born?
