Sir Ken Robinson, you speak my mind! It really is high time to let education evolve. My school itself is ridiculous. The teachers can't use PCs, there is hardly any equipment to meet today's standarts and the lessons are still teacher-tells-student and student-sits-and-says-nothing.
I wonder how long it will take the German government and citizens to realize that underfinancing and not modernizing education is harmful to society and each individual.

Nurturing creativity would do just as much for science and mathematics as it would for arts. Carl Sagan presented this idea over a decade ago.

Most of the laws of the universe were discovered by mistake, by creative scientists. Children being trained out of creativity and being punished for mistakes has repercussions for all departments of education.
