Talk about a song that has evolved over the years, Lion Sleeps Tonight went from Bob Hartley singing the melody to Jimmy "Joe Bob" Sabina crooning the high part. Sabina later threw in (pun intended) the prat falls and the three of us had a great time over ten years beating him to death whenever the opportunity arose. In this version we are singing with our original tenor, Ken Potter in Santa Barbara, CA (1995).

  • Good question, The ending is called a Tag and the whole song leads up to that.

It gives the quartet an opportunity to "lock & ring" the last cord.

  • awsome this will be like my fave song now and i am going to try and find 3 other guys at my middle school so sing this with me now
