  • @66watzup66 Ok, I've seen people who were 16 and just started aikido and after several years they are really adept. My advice is don't forget that your training ends as you leave dojo. Several hours of training several times a week won't make you expert. At least try to visualize techniques. And do some other physical fitness stuff. Because aikido alone won't make you fit. It is pure technique. But believe me if you are good it will work PERFECTLY

  • @AllYouHearIsSwoosh Yes, very important. Hakamas are wore to avoid enemies to see footsteps, but also keep students from seeing them.
