What do you do with all those extra pumpkins the weekend after Halloween? You shoot them across a huge field! The Punkin' Chunkin' started in 1986 and has become a nationally recognized event. You gotta see it to believe it! They have "kid projects" all the way up to air cannons that deploy the orange payload up to a mile and beyond. We follow two brothers Sharif 14 and Zakary 9 in their quest for a win in the youth trebuchet category. The Punkin' Chunkin' takes place in Millsboro Delaware, next to Rehoboth Beach. Step up to the firing line and watch 'em fly.

They talked about last year's winner in the youth trebuchets, those kids that did 800+ feet last year made their machine even stronger this year. My niece is in that group. They have a trebuchet that's all aluminum, uses about 20 garage door springs (may be more this year) and they use an aluminum boat mast as the arm of the trebuchet. They're not gonna be easy to beat.
