  • Great moment for City :D

  • I was at that match. I also went to school with Trevor Tainton. We went to Hengrove in Bristol & he was a year younger than me. About 3 months ago, I met Janzen Derrick. Now there was a skillful player. I saw him on his City debut aged 16 when he scored direct from a corner. Anyone remember that? I do & certainly Janzen did when I talked to him about it!

  • 1:41 Terry McDermott really deserved a goal for his off the ball run after making the first pass. Brilliant football from an underrated player.

  • @swilltest Rodger Malone,he was Sports reporter for the Telegraph aswell as being commentator for HTvV Nicknamed "Piggy Malone" by the Ashton Gate faithful after the Two Ronnies character

  • Now that's what you call an 'east end'

  • Love the commentary - from another era. Who was it ?

  • great win one of 16 goals conceded by liverpool as they won the league can we have more city videos from the seventies

  • I remember The Robins. What great stuff back then.I still have the match day programmes and Calenders.

I used to work with Tom Ritchie Gerry Sweeney & Lee Rogers, what happened to Alan Dicks.

  • I went to every home match bar one that season. Unforgetable, and I want you all to know that Bristol City were never outplayed on their home ground that season, bar one match against Coventry. Problem was they didn't have a good striker, they bought Joe Royle, he started off well against St Mirren, but what a disaster afterwards. One of the best was Trevor Tainton, and of course Norman Hunter, they were maginificent.

  • yes yes yes
