  • This doesn't work for me. I get to the point where I choose the patterns. I press Enter and it just goes back to the "command:" prompt. No errors. Running 4 SR8

    It sounds like you are selecting block instances for the pattern objects. You can use the What command to determine if this is the case. If so, use Explode to convert the block into a regular Rhino surface or polysrf.

  • Hi Chrisi,

    This blog post will probably be of interest to you as well. The tiles are similar and meet up with neighbors at the mid points. You'll have to insert actual dots in the link... YouTube doesn't seem to let users post hyper links in comments.

  • @RhinoGuide The problem was that I was using surfaces as the pattern objects. e.g. I drew a circle inside a square, then made "surface from planar curves". All I had to do was extrude the surface and then it worked. I thought I would be able to panel a planar surface like this?

  • Can you explain how you created this patterns?
