D'espairs Ray - Infection MV College project

View in high contrast or TFT Monitor. it was edited on a high contrast set monitor and i never realised T_T because retards mess with the monitors at college. thus its UBER dark in areas haha.

I did a tester for this previously - it was a college project set to our class - Make a music video, focus on genre type and mise en scene and such.

I chose J-rock, Visual Kei sorta Genre area ^^ and as you can Tell i chose D'espairs Ray and their brilliant Song Infection.

This video is a collaboration of my video shots and things stuck with shots of the band from their PV's 'Born' and 'Garnet'.

The reason i picked this song is because it had no video for it, so i had to try and match the other two video's footage to fit this song as well as my own and make it all look as one, as well as making Born and Garnet footage look like they are singing this song XD!

The shots of my friends Amy and Jack where done in a spur of the moment story and shooting session. The place i intended to do the filming got flooded, so the plot was ruined some what and had to be re-thunk on the spot in the rain in a forest xD

Personally - i've done better XD thus i am not entirely happy with it but it was a very fun project to do so ^_^

ubelieveable good....it's very sad that no one else watches this....it would work for a bigger audience too SAD V______V very good filming, and yeah, it really looks like they are playing this song.....the girl in the red dress remembers me of the one in the BORN video.... did you want to do that? the similiarity?

I enjoy seeing this artistic take rather than an overt literal approach so many "art"/fan videos seem to take nowadays. Instead of rehashing the obvious, you've created the world of the original work quite nicely. (While I find the forest scenes may work a bit better if somewhat more blurred or grainy, the sharpness or the parts works as well, so I really can't complain.) The contrast/dark suits the theme & piece, so no worries. Well constructed, well executed, overall well done video. Bravo.
