I have always loved this song! I am so glad the radio is playing this one again. I can't stand the sound of Cash's voice. NIN puts on a much more emotional performance. (My opinion, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.)

This is the first time I've seen this and it is epic. Don't compare the Johnny cash version. That was used for a different reason by a man who felt it was right for his situation - he was dying. The NIN performance is one of the best things I've ever seen and I love Johnny Cash!!!I will definetly check these guys out. Brilliant!!

i think you are all missing the point.johhny cash did make this song his own because of the raw emotion of describing his turbulent life and how he felt after the sudden death afew months earlier of his wife.this was the ultimate performance of a by then broken man!
