Yeah, why is that the case? There are lots of anime that are made for the age group Pokemon Special/Adventures is aiming for. Also if there has to be a kid friendly show why can't there be a spin off that's actually for older kids?

Well, in all honesty, Red did start out as an idiot, like most shonen heroes, but unlike Ash, he actually went through something called character development (and puberty ^-^)

@tailshero You cleary never seen the new show dp had ash's best rival paul aka silver plus jotho and every region after that was a fuck ton better then the manga now.The fight's are well done ash become's a better trainer and the new manga they don't fight gym leaders anymore but hey why am i trying to change your mind i mean dude your sucking the manga's dick i love the manga as much as the anime but you make it look like the anime give's you caner.

The only complaints i have are that Green (the boy) DID start out as an obnoxious snob and Red WAS and idiot but both got better.

Pokemon Manga rapes the Anime however i liked the Anime series when it went through Kanto then it died after that for me

! more reason why the manga is better: in the anime it's just use an attack, use an attack, use an attack ect. but the manga has more skill and cunning for example: kicking pokeballs to make your pokemon come out quicker to give them a single second to get a headstart.

@gooddarkjedi He does talk but only through telepathy in FireRed/LeafGreen chapter and even then he only speaks to Red, Yellow and giovanni.

@ChaIaka in japan yeah, they had blue, green and red games but everywhere else they only had red and blue so his name was changed from green to blue outside of japan.

mewtwo is so annoying and overimportant in the anime. in manga its actualy just failed experiment, and actualy there are stronger trainers and pokemons then mewtwo. allso he does not talk witch is positive change. he actualy becomes kinda cool. allso in anime the elite 4 did not appear witch was big disopointmet. the manga is awsome, the anime is not.

i love how, giovanni looks like yakuza. and that is good bechose that is exactly where the inspiration was from. allso he is polite, helfull and even gives red tips. ironicaly any charecter that you see in manga is much more deepfull then the charetcters in anime. allso i hate the removed cultural refrences in anime 4kids version. but in manga there is refrences and notes to japanese culture. while the anime tride to distance its self from japan all the time.
