  • I don't see how he can sing this song and not break down and cry.

  • Guy Clark's songs never fail to leave me teary eyed with a lump in my throat; If I ever had the privilege to see the man live - I'd probably be bawling my eyes out and left an emotional wreck by the end of the gig.

  • @quanfa88 I've got my Daddy's Randall #1. One of my most prized possesions.

  • Thank You Minor.

  • This man can write - and perform - like no other. He's coming to Linden, Texas, in October. I'll be there for a night of real music.

  • I heard this song the first time. It reminds me so much on my old riggers knife. I bought it from my pocket money with 13½, needed to bring my father that the salesman could hand it me. With 14½ I went to sea for about 20 years always with my riggers knife. Even as a Chief Mate I carried it with me. Now it hangs together with all my tools in the workshop, hardly used anymore but if I collect some of the tools, the first item I pick, is the old knife

  • Randall is and will always be the choice of serious pro;s around the world.Best knife money can buy.If you can go to the Orlando shop, and take a look around, then talk to them, make up your mind, you'll be walking home with a great knife.

  • haunting....

  • Someone in an interview ask Guy Clark where he got all those ideas for the songs that he made up. Clark's reply was "Son, you just don't make this stuff up". My grandfather once told me that a death worth dying would only come after a life that was worth the living. Live well my friends.
