  • do you wear a dobok or a gi in this martial art

  • @xxxN1nJa5k1LZxxx Actually they mean the same thing: Dobok is in Korean and Gi is in Japanese, which means for the same thing of clothing worn during martial art training.

  • I just wikied hwarangdo and guess what I found. Hwarangdo has over 4000 techniques!!

Its not a martial art its a science !!

  • @dhyleck It most certainly is... The way of the scholar warriors.

  • poor guy xD....

  • 0:31 is my favorite

  • @WCHwaRangDo i thought they looked different

  • @dhyleck Funnily enough, my dad always refers to our art as" The Way of Martial Science". He had a banner for it and everything lol.

  • @dhyleck

Now what you have to do is group up those techniques into major concepts as it will be easier to remember a few concepts then 4000 techniques

  • i think what i like best about this is all the takedowns are as short and to the point as possible. no throwing bodies in the air just GRAB GROUND quick as hell

  • Amazing!

  • not personally educated in this mans lineage to the traditional and very old style of Hwarangdo, but i have read alot of historical references to to it without ever being able to actually witness it other than still pictures. certainly enjoy what i am seeing and am very glad to see many of the " lost" korean arts finding new light these days. korea has a very rich and impressive martial arts history that is often misunderstood and uncredited due to some very terrible past events.
