    I've heard that if the frequency is high enough, it can't interact with your nerve-system!

    But it can still fry your tissue right?

  • You don't get shocked, but you still get burned. Or cooked internally, depending on the power levels...

  • Its true about high frequency, high voltage. You might not feel a shock, or a burn, no pain at all, but get an instant black mark on your skin, which can be far worse deeper in the tissue, depending on the frequency. Its known as RF burns, they can take months to heal, and are quite nasty. Its why you have to be careful if you touch the arcs of a TC directly. And why some don't recommend it at all at any power level to touch the arcs. Don't have to feel the pain for it to harm you.

    I find it very interesting how the arc is different from a normal coil. Also in general the differences from the sword like VTTC, Fat DrSSTC and the old fashioned SGTC. Would you experiment with other coil forms, like a cone for example?
