I have been a Carpenters fan since my early teens. Went to see her in concert in the summer of 1971 in NJ. Even at the age of 14 I knew she had an amazing voice. She was uncomfortable taking center stage so she was sitting behind the drums. Didn't know which I envied more, her voice or her drumming talent. This has to be one of my favorite songs that she sings. So incredibly sorry she couldn't find the love she was so desperately seeking. Karen, you are still missed very much.

@xolaurenox16 Singers like Karen Carpenter were rare in the 70s never mind today.Her manager once said he never heard Karen sing a sour note.I am happy they finally convinced her to stand front and center where her fans can see her,and not behind a set of drums.I love her voice as much today as I did 40 years ago.

Precisamos entender que "Deus é infinitamente superior" ao dom que nos dá, karem recebeu um dêste dom, sua voz maravilhosa, suas letras belissímas, porém deve ter se esquecido do Criador que lhe deu o dom maravilhoso, mas tenho certerza de que ela nunca será esquecida , pela felicidade que ela levou a outras pessoas.
