This is a video/photo montage of my Nintendo collection as of 1/20/2008. Unfortunately it's already outdated! On the night I made the video, I won a brand-new-in-box Virtual Boy on eBay. You'll see that and whatever else I acquire between now and the time I make the next video.

I received an NES for my 8th birthday in 1987 and my Nintendo collection has fluctuated ever since. I had developed the habit of selling or otherwise getting rid of all my original Nintendo items at garage sales or trading them at Funcoland. Only a few of the original pieces remain.

Since January 2006 I have been slowly working to recreate and expand my collection. My criteria for buying Nintendo products are that they either be sealed or opened but 100% complete and in like-new condition. My criteria for the condition of NES games are a bit less stringent but they still must be 100% complete in box.

I currently have 321 complete-in-box games as well as all the hardware you see in the video. I collect only first editions of SNES, N64, and Gamecube games not 'Player's Choice' re-issues.

If you're a Nintendo fan, you'll probably recognize the background music track as "Bonus Room Blitz" from Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. This version is a remix from a tribute album called "Kong in Concert." You can find it here:

Enjoy!

  • Where did you find the store display at the beginning?

  • I came across that on eBay about four years ago.

  • where did u get those figures from in the begining

  • They're from the Nintendo World Store in New York.

  • Holy freaking cow!!!! How much Nintendo stuff do you own? I wish I had that big of a Nintendo collection.Thumps up for you dedication to Nintnedo. Do you own any import software?

  • It's funny you should ask about import software. I JUST started collecting for the Japanese Famicom and Disk System. My collection has nearly doubled (in hardware, not software) since this video but I'm going to wait to make a new one until I have everything I want. One can only take so many comments about not including this or that particular item. Thanks for the comment!

  • Nice collection!

  • i want a nintendo sign

  • I have 54 Gamecube, 34 DS, 15 GBA, 9 GB, 30 N64, 18 Super, and 3 NES. My focus is to get all N64 games and systems because the library is only about 350 games, SNES has 750, and NES has 900 or so counting the unlisenced.
