I DID NOT NAME JASON OF THIS VIDEO AFTER JASON DUNN! I just randomly choose the name Jason. And then, once I was done I'm like, "Ohhh great Jason is the name of the person who sings this song." That was brilliant.
Anyways, I decided to make this video because suicide numbers are not crawling, but they are increasing all the time. Suicide is nothing to take as a "light" subject. No, its really, very, very serious and there is no tuning back once the deed is done. Suicide is never the answer. You're thinking, "Yeah, sure. I hear that all the time at school when the health teacher preaches at us." And yes, you may hear it a lot but it doesn't mean it is wrong or cliche.
Your Life dreams are shattered,
Now you're gone away.
We've cried here for hours,
And the hours turn to days.
We know you regret this,
Leaving us here,
With portraits and memories
That we've held so dear.
When I hear your name, it's not the same.
No matter what they say, I'm not okay.
And we started at zero, and went different ways.
Now we're all out here wasting away.
And if we started at zero, then how did things change?
It seems like just yesterday we were the same.
It's been three months since he left us.
So far nothing's been the same.
And my question without answer is:
Am I the one to blame?
He was such a good description of a favored future man.
He spoke well of other people, and they said the same for him.
When I hear your name, it's not the same.
No matter what they say, I'm not okay.
And we started at zero, and went different ways.
They say they're sorry, well what are they sorry for?
How can they possible know what I'm going through?
I feel like no one's ever had to deal with the pain that I'm dealing with right now.
Does anyone have answers?
Just Six months ago everything was fine. or so it seemed.
What turn of event caused him to go downhill?
His parents are devastated.
His girlfriend's depressed.
What was he thinking!?
And we started at zero
And went different ways
Now we're all out here wasting away Wasting away
Wasting away
And we started at zero
And went different ways
Now we're all out here wasting away
And if we started at zero
Then how did things change?
It seems like just yesterday we were the same
We were the same
We were the same
I don't own the song or pictures, but i put the video together myself.
It's sad, because this happens all the time. Parents take things too seriously, superficialism is now a trend, and everyone has to be perfect to get ahead. I cry everytime because I wish I could be there for all of these people. It's a shame people feel this way and even more a shame that people ignore it. :[ But I love this video!

This is a good video. Many people (especially parents) don't realize that most depression doesn't necessary come from faliure itself, rather how others react to faliure. Will you accept a less than perfect son/daughter? Many parents/friends don't even realize that a lot of times altough you might explictly say "yes," your actions convey a different message. Perfectionism does not lead to happines- as this video shows.
