I had mine for 7yrs and still works as of 2012! never getting rid of it. I kept it at my grandparents house

I just started using VHS again after a record 7 ½ year hiatus. And I'll get S-VHS in preparation for recording Freeview - to make the original brilliance and sharpness come thro------- PSA: Jack just used EMTEC's America slogan--------ugh play after play after play.

I remember watching this live, just before he started recording he screamed "I GOT A FUCKIN' VCR!". It was hilarious.

Yes I still use a VCR to record shows from the TV. I think it's much more better than a DVD Recorder. I own 9 VCR's and 2 DVD/VCR Combo Recorders. I have over 2000 VHS tapes recorder with TV Shows from the 80's and 90's. This is cool because I have a lot of TV Shows recorded on tapes that never made it out on DVD.

I Liked VCRs. It annoys me to no end that many DVDs don't let you fast-forward the annoying ads and copyright notices ... I bought the player, bought the DVD, if I press fast-forward, don't tell me no. Obey machine, obey!
