Stephen Hendry in his first round match against good friend Mark Williams in the 2009 Betfred Snooker World Championship looked odds on to go 8 - 5 behind. But as he has done so many times in his career he pulled off this stunning clearance to totally turn the match around with 5 consecutive frames for a 10 - 7 victory.

  • This is absolutely epic! Stephen Hendry, you are my (snooker) hero!

  • Ronnie is better =\

  • Pure class by Hendry. Great player and great temperament. That is what makes him a champion !!

  • He looked like he didnt care...

  • Nervy??that was pure class

  • I wouldn't have described this clearance as "nervy" - he looks his usual composed self, and there were no losses of position either. Good clearance
