The Maine - "Daisy" + John's Speech About His Dad & How Jared Saved Him. (8/11/10, Greensboro, NC)

My best friend, Autumn, and I went to The Maine's concert last night at the Greene Street Club in Greensboro. It was SO much fun! They all performed AMAZINGLY! I got to meet and hug all of the members of The Maine and even made a pinky promise with John! :3 I also met and got a photo with Joel Kanitz of This Century. Then I met Alex Silverman of This Century and he signed my download card. I also met Dirk Mai and told him I loved his photography and he then took a picture of me and Autumn. So cool! Then last, but definitely not least, I met Austin Gibbs! Everyone was so nice and it was SUCH a great time! I HIGHLY recommend going to a show if they're coming anywhere near you. You won't regret it.

This is "Daisy". This also includes John's little speech about how he used to be a screwup, his dad's "talk" with him, and that Jared saved him. He also talks about how much it means to him that people support the band and the "initiation process". The camera I used was a Canon PowerShot SX20 Is.

@FLASHLIGHTMAN4LIFE i've been to and heard about enough parties to know how drunk people act. one of my best friend's gets drunk at almost every party she goes to. trust me. i can tell. and if you were at this show, you'd know he wasn't. especially during the meet-n-greet - you could tell he wasn't. so now i'm ending this discussion because i really don't feel like "arguing" with someone over the internet. all i'm trying to do is stick up for the guy. but thanks for watching, goodbye.

I was in the front row, right in front of John. Just before this, I blacked out and had to leave the venue. I was so disappointed, and I was sitting outside next to the door, which was open. I could hear John saying all this and started crying. It was magical even for me, who wasn't even inside. I love The Maine<3

I saw them, and he was like that through the whole concert.

He had a sip of beer on stage, and started talking to us about how sometimes he did drink too much before a show, but yeah. He wasn't drunk, and hes not drunk here. Hes just like that.
