  • Thanks for the comment. The regulatory factors involved would be a nightmare, too. OSHA and ADA would be the first hurdle....I had to deal with all that when designing a university approved teaching lab space. I lost some space because we needed a closet to hold a hot water heater for our safety shower. Sigh.

  • You don't really need unlimited funding to travel... Well, unless you want unlimited travel, of course. Travel is actually far less expensive than most people think it is. Have to say, I loves the idea of setting up a publicly available lab like that. Too bad it would be cripplingly expensive to do it.
