HI, Here is another vintage Pioneer peice from the early 1990's. Pioneer had a few models of cassette (yes tape not CD) changers. They were only out for a few years then went away. I recently feb 2008 ordered and installed new belts for this baby so it is good as new. Watch and enjoy!!!!

  • Erasure? Ship of fools?

  • yes the second tape was Ship of fools by Erasure

  • Was the first song Generals and Majors by XTC?

  • It was "Something to do" by Depeche Mode

  • I got mine from EZ-PAWN... really... haha for $19 with working belts, everything.. Funny you should mention it.

  • What city are you in I live near Nashville TN now but I use to live in Indianapolis, IN and there were EZ Pawn's all over.

  • Nice Pioneer CT WM60R Cassette Changer This Awesome Man ;-)

  • I want to see the inside of this thing while it's grabbing one of the tapes :(

    Epic deck though.

  • At this point mine is not returning any tapes form the changer - blinking ERR is displayed, and tapes do not play in either of the pockets, although there is some action - the auto shutoff and auto reverse are working fine. At the moment I am looking for a good service and will post their prices - they might kill this device if asking too much. BTW it never worked flawlessly, it looks great but works terribly. Be warned!

  • There is a safeguard - the LED where the tape is loaded blinks so one knows it is in use. Also if double loaded - the unit will reopen the loading tray. The problem with this model seems to be of a different nature. Mine with no reason (perfect keeping, seldom use) occasionally did not want to return the cassette and kept displaying blinking ERR. Now it does not return any tape if inserted (well after a long time eventually it might give it back, but you don't want to repeat it.

  • 6+1 pioneer? how much? mitsubishi made one like that and i know pioneer made the ct- m6r which is a 6 cassette...ill find one so, what if tapes are out of style this machine is cool :)

  • i Saw ON READERS DIGEST this ad

But cassettes stored horizontally, not vertically...

  • Fantastic bit of kit. Laughed when you mentioned you could swap out tapes while still playing but there was no safeguard against double loading... Something they could have delt with with an extra row of leds on the loading tray... Too late now, I suppose...
