1965 Zenith "Roundie" playing a clip from the 1957 televised "Happy Holidays with Bing and Frank" The TV is an unrestored original still working after 40+ years! I also added a few various date appropriate clips.

  • LOVE IT!!

  • Love it !!!! Such a wonderful trip to nostalgia land on many levels!

  • @60srocknrollband You're fortunate to live in an area with that many low-power stations. I can only recieve one low-power station personally.

  • all of the tv stations DID NOT go digital.i can still pick up about 4 or 5 anolog tv stations.i live in n.c. usa

  • Awesome! Can we see some of the Johnny Mann "Stand Up And Cheer" Chevrolet Show from 1971...? Thats what the '65 Magnavox in my Grandparents' home always featured...constantly...

  • Great old color set. Are you in a low humidity area? Electronics often fall victim to the corrosive humid climate here in Florida. I love the Star Trek bit. The original TV episodes were the best!

  • Now that's when TV's were good, you gotta love that screen!

  • Nice televison set I would like to have one of these sets

  • I noticed that around that era,, people didnt get rid of old for new because the old was worn out, they got it because they wanted to keep up with the Jones's lol so there are many tvs and appliances around from that era that works to this day !!!

  • Nice TV, as you probably know that starting next February 2009, all of the TV stations will be definitely go digital. You should get a digital tuner or a digital converter box to hook it up. All digital converter boxes works on old vintage TV's that you've seen on previous videos. Be prepared!
