This is a short story about a girl with an eating disorder and multiple personalities who begins fighting her inner demons. Not only is the eating disorder taking a toll on her future aspiration as a dancer but her other personalities keep showing up everywhere she goes and persuading her actions.

  • amazing... what's the song that's playing while she's in the dance studio? just before she leaves? I wrote the last comment before i watched the entire thing...im not sure this is a girl with DID but a girl with an ED and the vid personifies ana/mia to show what we really feel and hear and fight everyday..

  • Thanks for the comment, i really appreciate the depth in your response. As for the song, I did this a while ago. I'm not sure, sorry

  • it's a realy good video. i just wanted to confirm for people who may not be familiar that people with DID are different from those who are schizophrenic as this is an example by the filmmaker but those with DID do not have outside voices. DID is strictly inside. just an fyi. thanks for posting.

  • Sometimes people with DID have blackouts. Sometimes the parts don't agree, or one bit takes over while another wants to front. Sometimes there just isn't room for everybody in one head. She'll want to go skating, she'll want to finish his work, he'll want to sleep with his wife but she's straight. I think the problem comes when somebody other than the original takes over.

I don't know if everybody's like this. But I bet a lot of people are.

  • Damn that dark passenger.

  • awesome

  • I agree with this comment.

    To OP:

Great vid, but definitely captures more about what it is to suffer an eating disorder rather than DID

  • I got it. Thank you!

  • so amazing.

  • Interesting - me and my inner 'discussions or conflicts' and my contradictory 'actions' about different subjects like, p.ex. cigarette smoking, sexuality, my mother, some cultures, etc. Me and my selves. First time fascinated with DID. When and why it is considered a 'disorder'? Isn't every body like that? I LOVE THIS VIDEO.
