This is an example of why the US is not a capitalist country. It is corporate socialism. Capitalism has respect for property rights, corporate socialism only rigs the game in favour of those who need no favours.

the gov't is getting way bigger than the individual. they are telling where this person can or can't live. their job is to protect and defend not to confiscate a decent citizen.

if right to property is based on ability to generate tax revenue, i would love to get right of the welfare bums who never paid a dime of tax.

Although I would say that Bush is not a real conservative and he's practically no different to Obama compared to Barry Goldwater or Ronald Reagan. Conservatives voted to protect Kelo's home, but Bush was anything but a conservative.
