Stupid is as stupid does.

he probably forgot the displacement and put too much oil in it so it spilled over...

If I had to name anyone in our family that would try to make their own turkey fryer it would have been one of you guys, Teddy. That was awesome!

Teddy, that was very good! Now would you like to fix me a turkey?

@mojojojo928 Looks like too much oil in too small a cooking pot..A lid is a handy item to have also.
What you wrote is true and spot on..no mention this turkey was partially or fully frozen..
I did 2- 20lb birds last week ..They were awesome.
Some people do not realize that cooking oil at 350 degrees is highly flammable...XD

Hilarious. Why the heck did you shovel dirt onto it? Woulda been good deep-fire-fried!

Yer supposed to defrost and towel-pat the water off the turkey, guys -- the more ice is present, the more it'll 'splode into flame-on, eyebrow-removing fail. And lower it more slowly... the fryer is fine! :)
And raisitup needs to google 'how not to fry a turkey'. Frozen and partly-defrosted turkeys go up *exactly* like shown here. XD

FAKE. Looks how he holds that turkey with the tiny stick and string - if that were a real turkey his body would be reacting quite a differently to the weight of it. Whatever's on the end of that string isn't a turkey, probably some sort of balloon filled with a flammable gas.
That noise he makes at the end is EPIC.

That was brilliant. I know us Brits aren't allowed to like Thanksgiving, but if it's like that, then I want to play too!
