@workensmart i know the new ones are awfull just because it cheaper to make there it disgracefull, this one i started ive had since 2002 never ever gone wrong well apart from the throttle cable but thats my fault :), i just do basic maintence and its lasted me 8 years :)

These were the last of the good briggs engines before they whent to shit. They make all there new stuff in china wich sucks. Today that engine will last you maybe 4 years tops and the 600 series will last you maybe 6 years tops. Kind of sucks to because they charge people that same price for a much lower quality product.
