Colombus was a downpressor. He enslaved people, killed people, took land that was not his from the indians, all in the name of greed and capitalism.
It was because of his greed that slavery took place.
Ironically,w e just learned about colombus and we now have an essay to write about him, whether or not he should be celebrated. I am going to mention this song.
