chik in California here: I've been doing a bit to study up b/c I was interested & became even more interested when anyone pooh-pooh'd the idea it made me more curious. I figure something has to be up if the reaction was to try & get me to shrug off the interest. I got 2 of the Just A Minute books which was more digestible than a few others. But this is what I want to know, are your cameras altered to compensate for all the brightness up there? It's so intense! Good video btw!

@dreaminggirlish I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. It is the same where I am as it is in New York City or Chicago - both of which are only a 9 hour drive away from Toronto, Ontario. Maybe you are talking about northern Canada in the arctic which is thousands of miles from where most of us live.

I love being Canadian every single heart beat second and every day. Canada is my hometown and always will be. It's funny how some people doesn't knows Canada fought WW1 and lost over 100,000 soldiers. I love our maple leaf and so far I got a collection of 50. 1 of them is like orange bluish strange...

It bugs me that we laugh at the Americans for being ignorant, but many Canadians don't know anything about their own history, but know American history.What do you feel about the black issues in the states compared to Canada? @bodstevens I love my country, but issues of race and identity are still here - we just don't like to talk about them. But by far, Racism is far worse in the U.S. than here. The only advantage of the U.S. is their government is way more representative of minorities - Harper has absolutely none in his cabinet.

Our knowledge of Canadian history is borderline pathetic. I have quizzed people in Ottawa and the responses were horrid. It's sad - we have this amazing country and rich history

@Homemadegameguru I know Today in school we had an EXAM of to write good things about Canada the story had to be over 150 words , I did 565 words and I passed it my teacher told me I did well. Happy you are one of the True Canadian.
