Welcome To Housing Bangor Maine

'Welcome to Housing' is a volunteer community effort that helps collect household items and raises money for gift cards to help the 100+ people that transition from the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter to a place of their own every year. These individuals have the support of caseworkers as they "Set up housekeeping." 'Welcome to Housing' provides needed, essential items that these people may not have, to help ensure their success. Everything from kitchen items, bedding, furniture, alarm clocks, personal care items and so forth.
