UPDATE 5/18/11: Please go to the links below for all new info on the hack. I rarely respond to comments or emails here so if you want to reach me, you will have to do it on these sites:

For more info on this hack, and the video please see here: http://sotnhacked.wordpress.com/

You can also find me on these forums here with info on the hack:http://castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/index.php?topic=2931.0

This should be the FINAL version of the Akmodan boss fight as well... Akmodan II's color has been changed more to his drac x palette, and akmodan III is the grey one. The room layout has also been modified slightly, and their sarcophagi have also been touched up slightly color wise.

Akmodan II has a teleporting flames attack that he uses as an anti-air, and Akmodan III summons blocks with spikes on the edges of them. Killing one of them makes the other one attack more often, and more effectively. Though since the tan one is faster when they are both alive, chances are most people will kill him first.

This video also demonstrates the new and improved TNT weapon, which now explodes on contact with an enemy or candle. Also if it DOES explode from hitting something rather than hitting the ground, it does so in a different, more effective pattern.

The video also shows Alucard's changed poison status effect (doesn't last as long, still affects ATT and DEF, but also drains some health now like in POR), and also curse has been modified (lasts about 1 minute now instead of about 10 seconds).

This guy was about 10 times HARDER to program than the Creature, and took me over a week to get right. The teleporting flames move was hard enough to get to look good, and not crash when spawning all those flames. But the spike lined blocks were HELL! So much so that I don't even have room to explain all the garbage I had to go thru to get them working right in this space!

I also had to correct several bugs that were already in SOTN concerning Akmodan's throw move (which as you see in the vid now moves forward), and at the same time I had to make sure he wasn't TOO difficult.

For this fight I used the fairy so she would keep curing me of all those nasty status effects. But I made sure to get rid of all healing potions first (you can see that I don't heal during the fight, hp or mp wise). Both Akmodan's are weak to Holy and Fire, but as you can see even using those elements, they were still VERY deadly!

IMPORTANT: Please do not ask me for a release date. I don't know yet when it will be done. But for any and all updates and news, please check this thread. I update it frequently: http://www.havocforums.com/index.php?showtopic=44783

  • Sheesh. Is this a PC game or a psx hack????

  • Also, there is 1 thing I would love to see in this game the most: Some sort of secret trials room at the end of the game, just like in the DS games, where it's just super strong versions of old bosses. LV 100 versions of every boss in the game, back to back in one room after the next, they don't give you any EXP, at the end of it all is some sort of god sword (crisagrim mayhaps?) The ultimate castlevania challenge.

  • Do you have a personal deadline for this hack? I've been waiting forever...

  • Way too hard... They look like their even stronger then galamoth which is like wtf ? lol

  • from where we can download this hack version.....??

  • nice:P

  • @vaalliii CRISSAEGRIM!!!

  • very cool, but why do they throw square blocks? spinning pyramids would look better. Might also be cool if they shattered against the wall, instead of disappearing down into the floor.

  • @memokk gobble gobble
