@baldurus1 There are several types of 'indoctrination' - I didn't specifically state religious - I meant indoctrinate as in to be 'taught' and not to question, and that is how I would define brainwashing. Kids are often taught what to think rather than being provided means to form their own opinions or at least are not allowed to express opinions that might differ from what's popular.

@Stinger2578 You compared public school teachings with religious indoctrination. Ergo, you think public schools perpetuate lies.
-
@baldurus1 I don't remember anything in my post regarding lies or truth.

@Stinger2578 Funny, i can't remember any lies told in my school?
I think you're confusing private religious schools with public schools.

@baldurus1 "Brainwashing" is a term that I'd like to hear you define. There are similar concepts like 'indoctination' that occur every day in public schools.

Interesting that the Catholic husband would marry the Jewish wife in the first place, and they didn't expect that they might have differences in their ideas on what they might want to teach their child.
-
Anyone brainwashing their children should go to jail.
-
to be fair I would bar both parents from exposing the child to religion or order that the child be equally exposed and told continuously that choosing which faith the child prefers or none at all is and always will be her choice.
-
Both of them need to stick God up their asses and wake up to reality!

I don't think this has that much to do with religion. It's about fathers' rights, people. =/.
I would love to hear the judges logical argument as to which brand of fairytale is right for the little girl. I happen to think Peter Pan is pretty good.

This is so funny. The fight over who gets to brainwash the child.
