What is Nirvana? Is it Buddhist Heaven? A place Buddhists go when they die? Is it extinction, non-existence, or simply a state of mind? This talk explains the concept and tells you what you most need to know about Nirvana (nibbana). [Closed captioned.]

  • I know what nirvana is , I have been there. Its is describable

  • @1111MANA I hope what you experienced was a positive experience for you, but if you have "been there" and it is describable, then it is by definition not the thing the Buddha was talking about. Words are flexible, and the things we experience are transient and empty of inherent existence -- what you mean by nirvana may not be what others mean by it. But that doesn't deny that it could be a good thing you experienced.

  • another excellent video

  • @justalittledust You are wrong. You seem to be full of denial. If you were real you would have enquired further. But instead the best you can come up with is negation.
