@ponybcurtis ..and we are aware of others being "worse off" than us, things are unlikely to change. As long as we trust what the media feeds us, things are unlikely to change. Obama seemed like that change. But the very same people who robbed the American people blind remained is top posts. The wars continue. I'm not a conspiracist, but I can see how peple believe that there is a hidden elite that is pulling the strings. Thsi same elite fed us Obama and let us believe in change. They fear us.

@BrettDixonMusic The more I think about it, the more it seems like the only way for there to be change is for the entire system to be toppled. A guy like Ron Paul will never be elected. If were to somehow elected, he could never just abolish the Federal Reserve. That is the keystone of the entire free market capitalist system. The powers-that-be would crush him fast. It seems like a wide-spread open revolt is the only way anything can change. As long as we are reasonably comfortable...

@ponybcurtis They are all pretty much liars and thieves that put corporations and illegal wars and oil companies before the people. The only one I see that might be able to make a difference is Ron Paul - he's been against the wars since day 1, and he seems to be the only one that wants to abolish the Federal Reserve. (The Federal Reserve and the private globalist bankers that control it are the ones that are systematically destroying the nation. If you control the wealth, laws have no meaning.

@ponybcurtis DON'T YOU GET IT!!!??? It's a non-partisan issue! George Bush (both of them) are just as big of scumbags as Obama is!! Bush started two illegal wars, tripled the size of the government, enacted a patriot act, and perpetrated 9/11 for oil interests. Now Obama comes in and has now lied about absolutely everything he talked about. (Except implementing socialized government-run healthcare.) I'm sick and fucking tired of our politicians lying, especially since we pay their salary.

@ponybcurtis It boggles my mind that people can be angry that he wants to more control over corporations after corporations ROYALLY screwed you all over and continue to do so (i.e. in banking, insurance, health care). Corporations have one objective and it is to ensure that they are profitable. This is normal and acceptable as long as someone (i.e. government) is there to keep them in check. For a corporation money will always come before the health and well-being of the population.
