MY MATCH REPORT:
Round 14's actions started off with a huge surprise when the Blues hosted the Stormers in Eden Park. It was definitely a game of 2 half's. The Blues were able to break that strong Stormer's defensive line, Rattling the Stormer's tempers, with Louw ending in the Sin Bin! But the Stormers picked themselves up and brought a game..., they managed to keep more ball in hand to snatch the win with a late try from the Captain! Then the Crusaders and the Chiefs have each other a go in Napier. The Chiefs didn't back down to the Challenge, and Dan Carter was on a Drop Goal mission of his own... The Star headlined Crusaders Crush Chiefs... hmm the 1st sentence makes more sense... Yes Carter might have carried the Crusaders adding 20 points of his own, but the Chiefs definitely kept them on their toes! The Tahs tamed the Lions when they welcomed them to Sydney. The Tahs came out with loads of drive, the poor Lions defensive line was ripped apart, when the Tahs picked up the bonus point try in the 35th min. Then they took a nap allowing the Lions to play catch up, but unfortunately the Lions couldn't get more than 2 tries. Don't know how far the Tahs think they are going to get, with their boring 2nd half style of Rugby...Then the Force and the Brumbies battled it out. Ok so the Brumbies coach might have said that he didn't think his team would beat the Force, but the part that he left out... was that the game could possibly draw! The Sydney morning ran with this headline: Battered Brumbies hold on against spent Force. The brumbies were 1st to have points on the board, but the Force hit back ...
