Here we install and test Sensenich Propellers' new three-blade ground adjustable composite prop for the Rotax 912 engine. As you can see, this new hub uses pin gauge rods to set the prop pitch. The prop is 3B0R68C-0. We've been impressed with the ease of installation and setting the pitch, as well as the performance.
Each hollow composite blade weighs about 3 lbs., with nickel leading edge protection.

  • Looks like a nice prop. Good speeds without the spinner too. I imagine the prop spinner will add another 5 mph or so.

  • Did you need to balance the prop?
