Two more tunes, though not from the Morris world. The first is a French two-time Bourree written by Gilles Chabenat. The second tune is a traditional English triple hornpipe that I learnt from the playing of Spiers & Boden. Recorded partly for the melodeon.net Theme of the Month August 2010 (Tunes from France) and partly cos I got asked to record it by people. Played on my trusty Hohner Pokerwork in D/G.

  • love the old lancashire hornpipe

  • He he - very clever!

  • Impressive, sharp handling of the 3/2 hornpipe rhythm. So tell me again why Trunkles never has a proper ending and a 3/2 does? *winks*

  • Its odd hearing the first tune on the melodeon, I've grown used to it on gurdy and bassoon, bloody fantastic playing. Loving the look of the pokerwork
