Tamera Nielsen is a modern day philosopher whose thoughts run deep. You will, without a doubt, benefit from her words of wisdom. I suggest that you read them slowly and let them really sink in. And allow them to speak to you. Jay Platt Author of No Matter What!
Jack Robbins and Karen Love, WLNZ 89.7 FM "We're on the Coffee Break Show. We're live with Tamera Nielsen. It's good to see you again. It's been about a year since you were here last. Tamera is a local author, and her books are interesting, because they give you hope. And the latest one is called Perspectives: Views on Life."
The book is meant to help individuals navigate through life challenges be they miniscule or mammoth... small or seemingly catastrophic or insurmountable. I've gone through adversities I describe as surreal, and I have also helped a lot of others go through their adversities.
Cheryl Fritze, Media Personality, formerly with WILS 1320 AM, "We're speaking with Tamera Nielsen. Tamera I couldn't help but notice when meeting you the other day noticing the energy around you and how you just kind of light up the area where you are and when I found out your title and what you do, I felt the need to get you on the air to talk about it."
I specialize in working with individuals facing traumatic events to reduce the stress, fear, and drama surrounding such challenges.
Jay Platt, "Tamera speaks and writes from years of experience. She has gone through things that would make most of us cringe. But, she hasn't just gone through them. She has allowed them to make her a better, stronger person. And we, as readers and people who know her, benefit from that hard won knowledge. "
Tamera Nielsen is an authority on living well with lupus, pain-free living with fibromyalgia, surgery preparedness and recovery, domestic abuse, career transition.
No matter what the adversity might be.... If it's a cancer diagnosis, a life threatening illness, a job loss, or unwelcome career transition, there's always a better way to look at it, and once we embrace the worst case scenario, we empower ourselves to think of new ways to get through it and we can be victimized by life's challenges or we can conquer them.
Jay Platt, "As I like to remember, while you can't always control what happens to you, you can control how you respond. Tamera is proof of that and she is now passing that experience onto us. I don't take that lightly, and hope you won't either."
I remain resilient, resourceful, and calm in a crisis. I have the ability to assess a situation from all vantage points efficiently and accurately and create a pathway from point A to point B with the least amount of resistance, stress, and drama. As a wellness consultant, I help the forty-plus professional, particularly men over fifty, attain and maintain optimum wellness -- including mind and body. A gentleman that I helped over the past year was facing a life-changing surgery he was about to undergo and he's a media personality. And he was terrified about going through the surgery. So, I helped him through that, and in his own words he said that on the way to the surgery, he was filled with hope and possibility instead of fear. And he was excited about it. So, these are things that I love to do. It would be a rare day to say that someone facing a life-altering situation doesn't have some level of fear and stress. It's hard because the individual or even the family facing a life-altering situation or diagnosis is usually filled with fear and we don't necessarily make objective, rational decisions; it's difficult.
Chris Holman, Entrepreneur, Mid-Michigan Business Beat, "I have that problem under normal circumstances."
Jay Platt, ", through it all, your perspective on life and all that goes into it will change. What seemed serious before probably won't so much anymore. You will see things in ways that you haven't before. Her words are that powerful."
From "Perspectives: Words on Peace Passion and Purpose"... "The storm of adversity presents in many ways. We may lose limbs, love, life, health, and wealth. The strong survive. The confident know that no matter the form of the storm, they will thrive once they survive." ~ Tamera Nielsen
Cheryl Fritze, "Very good. Well Tamera I appreciate it so much you being with us this evening and the work that you do is fascinating, interesting, and extraordinarily valuable. So I appreciate it so much."
Thank you so much for everything, Cheryl!
