New Guinness Ad "The Rising" (Dec 2009)

There are two stories which unfold in this ad. One is about the positive energy created when friends get together over a Guinness. It is the story of communion and collaboration, in which a group of musicians are enjoying a Guinness when they spontaneously decide to back up a nearby busker. A live concert is created. The second story celebrates the positive energy that is released in the creation of a perfect glass of Guinness. The two stories become intertwined and eventually they become one. It is the story about the amazing things that happen when you Begin with a Guinness. This is the first TV ad under the Rise Together positioning for Asia. A positioning which in itself tells two stories at once that of the rising energy in a glass of Guinness and the way friends can rise together through creative collaboration. The ad was shot in Shanghai. The Director was Adam Stevens through Robbers Dog films.
