Re-edited lightning strike video with added 50% and 25% slow motion and freeze frames, posted with permission from LionOfJudah80.

Actually, I think what I described as discharge on the video might not be.. it might be the lightning affecting the camera. If you note that the "discharge" follows exactly the same path as the lightning itself. They are exactly the same "shape". Like a duplicate copy, lower down on the screen.
