  • Thanks a lot to you, Brsadin and Alex! It`s very important and interesting for us to know all this! We are happy that you gave us this information! And of course we have a lot of things to ask you about Serbian and Bulgarian folklore!

  • Dear friend! We learned this song from the CD of Belo Platno, and they say that this song is from Krajiste region, Southeastern Serbia, near the border with Bulgaria. If you have more information about this, please, write it here. Are you bulgarian? Maybe you can help us to know this music better!

  • This is a Serbian song, but not from Kosovo, but from Bosilegrad Region, it is on the Serbian-Bulgarian border, there is also a version of the song in Bulgaria, it is not important whose this song is, since it s very beautiful...

  • @DimitarDobrinov

  • @DimitarDobrinov Slavic language may not have been present or it may have been. We don't really know much about the neolithic peoples. If Slavs were not in the areas then the people evenntually adopted the slavic language. If Slavs were already there then they were in their own villages living amonst the Celts, Illyrians..etc.

  • @sneighwena First of all Slavs are not a genetically homogeneous group of peoples, but rather a linguistic group of peoples. Modern bulgarians are slavs but not genetically identical to other slavs like russians, serbs, poliaks etc.Second Slavs were not present on the Balkans until the 5th/6th century which is about the same time that bulgars arived and even later than them.Bulgars were not a turkic tribe, but aryans that for a few decades the where under the rule of the turkic kagan.

  • @sposata2000 Serbs were all over the place. No one stole anything from you. Maybe you should check you DNA first. Maybe it developed from a mix of Slavic/Thracian/Dacian/Illyrian cultures which were already present in the Balkans from the neolithic peoples.

If Bulgurs were a Turkic tribe then with which slavic tribe did they mix with? Don't forget one very important aspect - that Slavs in proximity were ruled by their Bulgur leaders who themselves eventually took on the slavic language.

  • When the Bulgarian people came here since 13 century ago, where were the serbian?

This song is Bulgarian, as my grand grand mother, who is from Bosilegrad. Bosilegrad is traditionaly bulgarian region, and you stolen from us in 1920 .

  • очень хорошо!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    привет от Сербии.

  • This is a BULGARIAN song from the area of Trun in the Shopp (Torlak) region, where WESTERN BULGARIAN dialects are spoken. The title is "Gugutka (Gurgulitsa, Gurkuska)" = the BULGARIAN word for "Turtle-dove".

Eta BOLGARSKAIA pesnia iz raiona Tryn v Shopsko-Torlashskoi oblasti, gde govoriatsia ZAPADNO-BOLGARSKIE dialekty. Zaglavie "Gugutka (Gurgulitsa, Gurkuska)" BOLGARSKOE slovo oznachaiushchuiu "Gorlitsa".

  • and yeah its bulgarian
