In this Auntie's Beads Video I will demonstrate the Square Stitch. I will go over the stitch using a large seed bead so that you can see the stitch before we work on the bracelet I designed.

Everyone,,,, please forgive me,, for not reading all of the responses. I'm just so excited about this video. I could NOT get this stitch by reading about it. Watching it makes it seem so simple. WELL, we'll see. I just want to know,,, MUST I use cylinder beads? Does that mean the delicas beads? I'm going to try this tomorrow with the seed beads that I have, but I want to know if I must buy special beads, and does that mean the myuki delicas beads. THANKS!! This was a great video!

Please cut your nails....they really get in the way. I have watched several Aunties beads videos and your long nails really hinder the instruction

Teaching myself using 6mm beads - tried 11/0 and it was just way too small to learn on! I'm having a heck of a time starting that 3rd row. I think I get it, and then my beads lay sideways. I think I need some more specific instruction. :\

It is best to start with about two yards of thread. That way you don't have to add thread to soon.

How much string do I use for this project? Do I just measure out a yard at a time?

I like this stitch. What kind of needle are you using? I work with seed beads alot and and i use the needle that is real flexible and i dont like it. Can the needle your using be used for 15/0 seed beads?
