After Gustav Passed By

A follow up to my previous video. The only wind & rain we got from Gustav was the little bit I caught on video and posted the other day. I include a pitiful appeal for advice & support.....

You know my story on quitting the damn things - it worked for me but I can't recommend it for everyone. It's not all that hard to quit but it is certainly difficult to stay nicotine free! We got a couple of very nice, cool days up here as a legacy from Gustav but summer (heat) has returned. Hang in there on the smoking, it takes longer to quit than it did to get hooked on them!

It's the first few days that are the hardest. When I started smoking I thought it looked cool, little did I realize back then how uncool the whole thing is!  I liked "gjerdeanders" idea about putting the money someplace where I can see it pile up! He's a smart guy!

It's also been abnormally cool & dry here since Gustav blew up north!

Nice video. Everytime you want to buy a new pack of cigarettes, put the money of the cost of a pack in a jar or something. And let it go like that for about a month each time, and then you take the money out and see how much it is. Save them, spend them on something you want or need. Endless possebilities :-p

The idea about the money is excellent! That way I'll be able to see how much money I'm burning up & inhaling! I should have enough for a new video camera in no time at all!
